Universal Studios

When we were in California, we spent a day at Universal Studios. The kids had a great time -- Sam loved the Mummy ride, Jurassic Park (was awesome...scared the pooh out of Louie), and the Simpsons ride. Louie loved the Curious George waterpark. It was such fun!

While the kids were in Logan, Lou got spend the night with her friends, Jada and Macy. Here are some great pictures of their fun night.

Peprrony

My daughter came home from school today with a paper pizza that she decorated. Tonight as she sat at the table doing her handwriting, she decided to write the names of the items upon said pizza. She had peprrony (pepperoni), pinappo (pineapple), susge (sausage), kez (cheese) and ppers (peppers). Adorable!

We also joined my son at his first open house. The teachers love him, he is passing all his classes with high grades, and he loves being at school. He is in excellerated math (odd), reading, language arts, and writing. He even joined the track team. Last year he did track and after he was sixth out of 10 kids in the 400 he mumbled that he would never do this crappy sport again. Now, he's raring to go.

I started school again this week, and am going a little crazy. Nothing is too hard, but everything will take lots of time and with 17 masters credits I might have a little too much to do. Ah well...life is back on track once again.

Disney 2008

We had a great time this year at Disneyland. The kids had never been to Disneyland (Sam had been to DisneyWorld a few times) and we were able to spend the entire day at Disney, though Matt and Kim left shortly after noon. We had a great time...we rode every ride once, and we were still able to leave by 5 p.m. and get across town by 6 p.m.
